What Does Christianity Say About Evolution?
Great radio program this morning from Dr. Robert Jeffress of First Baptist Dallas.
Many Christians don't really know how to address the subject of biological evolutionary theory other than to deny it and mostly refuse talk about it. Or if they do engage in a discussion, they end up effectively pulling magical, purple unicorns of illogic out of a sack to try and make their points stand as if they were backed by real thought.
Dr. Jeffress does neither of these things. He takes on this discussion in the way that I think is really the correct way, and that is to discuss the hybrid scientific/philosophical theory of biological evolution with known scientific and philosophical fact. When this is done by an intelligent speaker, evolutionary theory cannot stand.
If evolutionary theory is something that has perhaps cast doubt on what you think about either the nature of God or His very existence, you owe it to yourself to listen to this broadcast.
If you have ever wondered if contemporary Christianity has anything useful or intelligent to say on this topic, you owe it to yourself to listen to this broadcast.
